When I first arrived at the beginning of winter, the neighborhood felt incredibly cozy, peaceful, and warm. The charming wall art perfectly complements the nostalgic, coastal vibe of the harbor.
Moving from one alley to the next, browsing through cute, hidden souvenir shops along the way, there was never a dull moment.
I took a break at a cozy cafe mid-climb, where Tongyeong Harbor and Mt. Mireuksan unfolded right outside the window. Opening the window to let the golden sunlight stream in while enjoying a quiet moment was pure magic.

📍Essential Parking & Travel Etiquette Before You Go
Even though this mural village has been around for a while, it still draws big crowds on weekends and holidays. Since vehicles are strictly banned inside the village (except for residents), you absolutely need to secure a parking spot at the bottom of the hill.
For your peace of mind, I highly recommend picking out at least two nearby public parking lots on your GPS before you head out.
